About Dr. Caspersen
Matthew H. Caspersen, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Matthew H. Caspersen was born in Berkeley, CA. With his father in the Marine Corps, he spent time in Arizona, Virginia and England before settling down in Minnesota. Dr. Caspersen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, MN and followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the Marines.
Upon completion of his military service, Dr. Caspersen took great interest in the field of orthodontics. He decided to make a career change and attended the Medical College of Virginia to earn his D.D.S. He then attended the University of Iowa, earning his master’s degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Caspersen now lives in Stafford County with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys giving back to the community by being on the board of Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteering at the Moss Free Clinic.
