Dr. Matthew Caspersen

About

Dr. Matthew H. Caspersen was born in Berkeley, California. With his father in the Marine Corps, he spent time in Arizona, Virginia, and England before settling down in Minnesota. Dr. Caspersen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the Marines.

Dr. Caspersen is excited about being a board-certified orthodontist in the Fredericksburg and Stafford communities. He welcomes you to his practice, where he is dedicated to providing optimal results and high patient satisfaction. Dr. Caspersen has provided the highest-quality orthodontic care to children and adults since 2005.

Currently, Dr. Caspersen lives in the City of Fredericksburg with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at the Moss Free Clinic.

Education

After completing his service in the military, Dr. Caspersen took a great interest in orthodontics. He decided to make a career change and attended the Medical College of Virginia, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He received a Master’s in Orthodontics from the University of Iowa.
